From January to March 2025, Ukrainians purchased over 12,000 used passenger cars under five years old, imported from abroad. Half of them were electric vehicles.

- By engine type: EVs lead (50%), followed by gasoline (32%), hybrids (9%), diesel (7%), and LPG vehicles (2%).
The demand for EVs keeps growing amid fuel savings and tax incentives. It reflects shifting priorities among Ukrainian drivers, especially in big cities.
Experts previously named the Renault 5 the best electric car on the market in terms of price and performance. Among premium “fresh” used vehicles, the Mercedes C-Class and E-Class are also in high demand.
