The evaluation was based on thousands of vehicles, factoring in cost, breakdown frequency, and owner reviews.

Among the standout models are the Honda CR-V (2011) SUV and the Chevrolet Volt (2011) electric car.
Honda CR-V was the only crossover in the top and received a high score of 90 out of 100 from J.D. Power, confirming its durability over time.
Even more surprising was the Chevrolet Volt, which is one of the few electric vehicles to outperform pricier competitors in reliability tests. “Its affordable price, hybrid and electric versions make it a great option for buyers seeking an economical yet tough vehicle,” SlashGear notes.
